Meals
Our emphasis is on fresh food wherever possible and our meals are nutritious and varied. If you are vegetarian or gluten intolerant we can cater for you, but if you have very specific dietary needs you may need to provide your own food, please discuss this at time of booking. For breakfast we supply cereals, toast, tea and coffee. Lunch is usually a self-serve sandwich and salads; in the evening we have a cooked dinner. We always carry water in the vehicle and you will often have the chance to buy your own drinks, ice-creams etc at stops.

Local Payments
These are National Park Entry fees and the Fuel Levy.
National Park Entry fees are seasonal or need to be collected separate to the tour price. Local payments also include a Fuel Levy to cover the continuing high oil prices

Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park: AUD$25
Boat transfer to Twin Falls (Kakadu NP): AUD$12.50
Tasmanian National Parks: AUD$10 per entry

What to Take
Sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), hat and sunscreen, towel and toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing, water bottle, torch, insect repellant, fly net to cover your head if you are bothered by flies (outback tours particularly), camera and film, pillow, sleeping bag (can be hired AU$15 except for Western Australia tours where they can be purchased for AU$30; not necessary for fully accommodated tours ie Tasmania), money for optional snacks you might want to buy and/or meals not included on the specific tour you might be doing.
The vehicle has limited space so please keep your luggage to a maximum of 15 kgs in a backpack or soft overnight bag with a small day pack for easy access to camera, film, sunblock etc.

Sun:
It is very important that you wear sun block, even on a cloudy day when it feels cool as we are near the equator and the sun is very strong. A sunburn can turn a pleasant trip into a painful trip.
Hydration
Even when days are cool please be sure to drink a minimum of two litres of water and refrain from drinking to many diuretics, as while when travelling outdoors the breeze can dehydrate you quickly as well as the heat.

YES! FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN THE CANCELLATION OF YOUR BOOKING. You must call us on 1300 654 604 before 16.00hrs (4.00pm) the day prior to travel with the name of your accommodation and room number.
