Greenland is the world’s largest island (2,166,086 km² (836,109 sq miles)) lying between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans.

Greenland has a population of approximately 60,000 with the vast majority of people are Inuit and the rest of Danish origin.  The country is self-governing but remains part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
