Namibia is 318,261 square miles in size (over 824,292 square kilometres).
It borders Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa.

Namibia’s capital is Windhoek and it has a population of approximately 2.04 Million (est. 2006).

Namibia has a varied geography with large stretches of sand dunes, the Kaokoland mountainous region and of course the Etosha National Park & Game Reserve which some regard as one of the best in Africa.

Namibia may not be as popular as some of the other African big game countries but it does offer the chance for more personalized and smaller group tours.

Religion is predominately Christian but there are still many people who follow indigenous beliefs.
