Best Time To Go

The best time to go to Namibia will depend on where you plan to go.

As far as weather goes, summer will see the highest temperatures together with the heavier rainfall and December to January is when the school holidays are.

Some might look to avoid the hotter temperatures of the summer months and opt for sometime between April and September.

Dangers & Advice

The main advice is don’t travel by vehicle at night.  The most common problem for a tourist in Namibia is driving at night due to the roaming wildlife/livestock.  There is also some risk of muggings particularly from a vehicle.
