Kenya is 361,000 square miles (582,000 square kilometres) in size.  It boasts the second largest mountain in Africa, Mount Kenya.  It also has some of the best national parks (or game reserves) in the world, amazing beaches and beautiful coral reefs.

Kenya borders Ethiopia, Somalia, The United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda and Sudan.  Its capital is Nairobi and population is approximately 34 Million (est 2006).

The majority of people in Kenya are very poor but there also exists a middle class and the super rich.  Religion is predominately Christian (Protestant/Catholic) but there is also traditional African religious practice, Muslim and others.
