Guinea-Bissau is a small country that is certainly less visited other African countries.
This was mainly due to civil war in the 1990's but tourism is growing and people are optimistic about the future here.
The country has some great beaches, wildife, a relaxed vibe and friendly people.
Off the mainland are the Bijagós Archipelago, a group of small islands with beautiful white sandy beaches and some great wildlife including turtles and hippos.
