Botswana - Weather & Climate

Botswana's weather can vary from over 40 degrees C in summer daytime to around 2 degrees C at night in the desert.

Summer is from November to March.  This is when you will have the highest temperatures but the rainy season also runs during this period.

Winter runs from May to August.  This is the dries part of the year with temperatures still very warm in the day but dropping to quite cold (sometimes below freezing) at night.
